Emma's New Rocking Horse

A few weeks back Grandpa David bought Emma a new rocking horse! The horse needs a little TLC, but Emma loves her!

If the past couple days weren't enough proof--here's a little more of Emma in the tub!
She likes to pour her bowl of water all over herself and she enjoys putting it on her head like a silly little hat. She also likes to splash the water if you couldn't tell!!

Out of the Box Round 2

Last night, Matt and Stacy came over for our last Sunday night meal together as Stacy is heading to the cities next weekend after graduation and Matt will follow the next Friday when they close on their house. It has been a rare Sunday when we haven't spent our evening having dinner and conversation.
We have been so blessed to have such friends! We have already begun planning weekend trips to the cities for this summer.

All the while, Elliot and Matt worked pretty hard on trimming out the fireplace and bookshelves in the basement. They also moved the queen sized bed out of Emma's room and the trundle bed from the garage into the 2 brand new bedrooms in the basement :)

Now that Emma has a little bit more square footage in her room to play, we also took out some birthday and Christmas gifts that she hadn't played with yet since toys were already over-running our living room.

When we took out her farm, she knew just what the box was for---she was excited to climb inside. Here are a few pictures of how excited she was to have more (new...) toys!
